One credit balance for screening and company lookups
Kyboa uses one credit balance for screening and supported company registry lookups.
Subscription plans provide a credit allowance monthly, quarterly or annually. Prepaid credits can be purchased for occasional use and do not expire.
Both account types can access the same available features, including premium company registries when they have sufficient credits.
Screening costs
Screening costs are based on the number of distinct people or organisations screened, rather than the number of names or aliases checked.
Name-only screening
1 credit per person or organisation.
Run a standalone name screening against sanctions, PEP, watchlist, adverse media and web sources.
Registry-supported company screening
1 credit for the company, plus 1 for each distinct related party screened.
Related parties may include directors, shareholders and other people or organisations identified through supported company information.
Entity screening
The same per-subject credit costs apply.
An individual Entity normally uses 1 credit. A company Entity uses 1 credit for the company, plus 1 for each distinct related party included in the screening.
Scheduled monitoring
Credits are used for each completed re-screening.
Monitoring uses the same per-subject credit costs as manual screening, based on the people and organisations included.
Aliases are included: Alternate spellings, translated names and previous names of the same person or organisation do not consume additional credits. A person appearing in multiple roles is counted once when recognised as the same screening subject.
Company registry lookups in the app
Searching available company registries within the Kyboa app is free. Many supported jurisdictions also provide company information without using credits.

Selected jurisdictions offer enhanced official company information through paid data providers.

You can search both premium registries for free. Credits are used only when you confirm retrieval or refresh of an official company profile.
Premium lookups are available to all active Subscription and Prepaid accounts with sufficient credits.
Registry lookups and screening are separate actions
Retrieving company information and running a screening are separate steps, each with its own credit cost.
1. Retrieve company information
Loading or refreshing a premium company profile uses the applicable registry lookup credits.
Importing or refreshing this information into an Entity without running a screening uses lookup credits only.
2. Screen the company and related parties
If you then screen the company, directors, shareholders or other related people and organisations, the normal per-subject screening costs apply.
Screening uses credits for each distinct person or organisation included.
Example: Screening a Malaysian or Singaporean company with registry data
The following examples assume one company and two distinct directors are screened after retrieving a premium company profile.
Malaysia
18 credits total
- Official company profile: 15 credits
- Company screening: 1 credit
- Two distinct directors: 2 credits
Total: 18 credits
Singapore
28 credits total
- Official company profile: 25 credits
- Company screening: 1 credit
- Two distinct directors: 2 credits
Total: 28 credits
Actual screening usage depends on the distinct related parties included. These zero-credit registry lookup rates apply to supported functionality within the Kyboa app. Registry availability and data depth vary by source.
Registry usage is optional. You can always opt for a name-only screening to reduce the credit cost to one credit per screening.
Subscription and prepaid credits
Both account types use the same credit costs and can access the same available features with sufficient credits.
Subscription credits
- Monthly, quarterly and annual subscriptions receive their full credit allowance upfront for the paid period.
- Credits become available upon payment on your subscription renewal date.
- Unused subscription credits do not roll over. During eligible unpaid grace periods, remaining credits from the previous period may still be used, but no new allowance is granted until payment is confirmed.
- Your allowance can be used for screening and supported premium registry lookups.
Prepaid credits
Prepaid credits are suitable for occasional screening or irregular usage.
- Purchase credits when needed.
- Credits do not expire.
- There is no monthly reset.
