Entity Monitoring and Review Decisions are now live in Kyboa. This is a major platform milestone because it moves the product beyond one-off screening reports and into a maintained compliance workflow for ongoing CDD.

If you have been using Kyboa for quick individual or company screenings, that workflow remains available. The new functionality adds an entity-based layer on top of the existing screening process, allowing you to maintain client or counterparty records, run screenings from those records, keep an entity-specific screening history, and review recurring matches more efficiently over time.

Maintained entity records

You can now create and manage Entities for companies and individuals. An Entity is the maintained compliance record for a client, counterparty, shareholder, director or other subject you may need to screen repeatedly.

For company records, Entities can include names, additional names, addresses, related people and other KYB details where available. For individual records, Entities can include identifying information that helps make future screening more precise.

The important distinction is that an Entity is not itself a screening report. The Entity is the current maintained record. Each screening created from that Entity remains a point-in-time screening, with its own results, report and audit trail.

Entity-linked screenings and screening history

From an Entity record, users can now run a screening directly using the current Entity data. Kyboa reuses the established screening pipeline, so Entity-linked screenings still follow the same core process: sanctions and watchlist screening, adverse media and web discovery, background summary, risk rating, confidence level, report generation and audit recording.

Each Entity now has its own screening history. This makes it easier to see how a client or counterparty has been reviewed over time, rather than searching through standalone screening records. The Entity view shows recent screenings, while the full Screening History page provides a more complete record of Entity-linked activity.

Scheduled monitoring for ongoing CDD

Entities can now be configured for scheduled monitoring. When monitoring is active, Kyboa can create automated monitoring screenings on a set cadence using the same Entity-linked screening workflow.

Production monitoring frequencies include weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual cadences. Monitoring uses normal screening balances and guardrails, so automated re-screening is treated consistently with manual screening activity.

This is intended to support ongoing CDD workflows where a client or counterparty should not only be checked at onboarding, but reviewed periodically as part of a maintained compliance process.

Monitoring alerts and account settings

Monitoring alerts can now be configured at account level. The available alert modes are off, always, or only if changes are detected.

When change-based alerts are enabled, Kyboa looks for specific changes after a completed automated monitoring run. These include new active sanctions or watchlist matches, a change in risk rating, or new adverse media URLs compared with the previous monitoring baseline for the same Entity.

Alerts can be surfaced through in-app dashboard notifications and email recipients configured in Account Settings. Where a current report is available, the monitoring alert email can include the latest report PDF.

Review Matches and Review Decisions

The new review workflow is designed to reduce repeated operational noise from matches that have already been assessed.

On Entity-linked screening detail pages, users can now review matches and mark reviewable findings as confirmed or dismissed. These decisions apply to the maintained Entity context, not to unrelated quick screenings.

The Entity page also includes a Review Decisions view. This shows the current working list of decisions for that Entity, including the latest provenance, decision state, notes, match type, review priority and source context where available.

A typical workflow might be:

  • Run a screening from an Entity record.
  • Review sanctions, watchlist, KYB or web/media candidates returned by the screening.
  • Dismiss clear false positives with a note.
  • Confirm items that need continued attention.
  • Let later Entity-linked screenings use those decisions to reduce repeated noise while keeping the original evidence transparent.

What this changes for users

For existing users, the biggest change is that Kyboa can now support a more complete compliance lifecycle:

  • Create and maintain client or counterparty records.
  • Run screenings from those maintained records.
  • Keep an Entity-specific screening history.
  • Schedule recurring monitoring for ongoing CDD.
  • Receive alerts when monitoring results warrant attention.
  • Record review decisions for recurring matches.

Quick screenings remain useful for one-off checks. Entity Monitoring is now the recommended workflow when a person or company needs to be maintained, reviewed again, monitored over time, or kept as part of an ongoing KYB or KYC file.
